I finished piecing this and am just waiting to do a few practice quilts before I put this one on the frame. It's 49x68.
I originally was going to give it to a teacher for an end of year, but decided against it - she's a 1st grade teacher that we love but I started to think hmmm... word will get around... I better not give this to her cause down the line other teachers might say hey, why didn't I get a quilt??!! So I made her a few market bags and included a gift card to the local grocery store. She loved the bags. She said she has been trying to go green so it was just perfect! :)
Anyhooo... I haven't decided what pantograph I'm going to use yet. I've been going through designs at quiltrecipes and have yet to fully decide.
This quilt will end up becoming a QOV quilt I'm sure - or for the local hospital :)
