Billie, I just received my new 301 the other day and was playing around with it yesterday, (love, love, love it) but noticed that it has no on off switch. Is is better to unplug it from the wall outlet or the machine. Strange but my little featherweight has one, can't believe this one doesn't. I even read the manual and it states nothing about an on off switch. It's a really beauty with very little wear and case in very good condition. Sews like a dream!!!
