One of my great grandmothers made this one. It is hand pieced, and I believe that it was quilted at a quilting bee, there is a large variation in the quilting. (Typical of being quilted by many hands).
Pearl crossed Texas in a covered wagon as a girl, and her claim to fame is that she was Bonnie Parker's, (Bonnie & Clyde), 3rd grade school marm.
