I had a Rowenta that had auto shutoff for less than 2 years - it broke :(
Bought another Rowenta with NO Auto shutoff (less expensive than first too) - it's over 2 years old now :)
Just picked up another Rowenta NO shutoff at a rummage sale (cheap and clean!)- steams and heats - :) crossing fingers it'll last.
