Crafty, I have spinal stenosis in my lower back that is closing on the sciatic nerve, so I understand your pain. Mu feet and lower legs are numb,,no fun! My warning to you, IF you are feeling numbness in your legs, don"t wait too long for surgery. I wasted a year having steroid shots, pain pills, and pain patches, only to have the problem get worse. Then when I did have surgery, it helped some of the pain, but the numbness remains. Was told I waited too long for the damage to be undone. The specialist I was seeing was said to be one of the best in the US, but he never told me my problem was going to continue without surgery, or I would have not wasted that whole year. So, I deal with it! I did have a treatment by a chiropractor that gave me some relief for a short time(as day), have you tried that? Some doctors frown on chir. , but my PC doesn"T, and I saw one for a year for a pinched nerve in my neck, and it does work wonders.
