Oh my, I'm not the only one allergic to Alleve! Sorry to hear about your reaction. Three years ago my doctor recommended Alleve to help with an injured ankle. Took it for two weeks, didn't notice anything until I woke up one morning with a whole body rash!! _ :( _ which proceeded to get worse, even after stopping the pills. I was out of work for two weeks because the skin on my hands was like leather and I couldn't bend my fingers. After everything peeled off, like a bad sunburn, I was okay.
I'm usually good at spotting an allergy to something but this really snuck up on me. Turns out I'm allergic to any of the naproxyn sodium type drugs. Who knew?! Now, I joke with my boyfriend, who practically lives on the stuff, that I won't kiss him if he's just taken a pill! _ :lol: _
