Then all of our stashes are totally out of date, LOL! I personally don't care what's "in" or "out", I pick fabric that appeals to me, pattern and color wise. Betting most quilters do. However I have agree that while it is nice to have the option I am usually too impatient to wait. I start looking for my online orders as soon as I hit the send button!!
