I recently read one of those Q&A sections in a magazine where the quilting staff talked about batting. Many used wool because of the way it handles. One likes to use Warm and Natural for wall hangings and prefers Hobbs Cotton Blend for hand quilting. I think if you found something you like, just pick one and go with it.
