Looking at your Apron quilt gave me an idea. My mom passed away at 50 yrs old in 1968 from Cancer. She loved wearing aprons, and we (my sister and myself) still have all her aprons stashed away in a drawer. I do have 2 on my wall in my sewing room. But if I could talk my sis into it, I can make 2 wallhangings, one for each of us from my mom's aprons. Hope she will go for the idea! Last October, I lost my friend of 42 years. She had dozens and dozens of handkerchiefs. Some white, some very colorful, many different sizes. I want to do something with them, but they are so fragile, I'm stumped. I've thought of sachet pillows, baby quilts, wall hangings, but nothing seems appropriate except for the sachet pillows. Any good ideas, I would love you hear your ideas. Virginia
