Browse the blocks here, the ones with 1 pin are the easiest. Border them and you will have a nice quilt :D:D:D

A nice lap quilt would be 4 12" or 10" blocks by 6 blocks. Add borders to get the finished size you would like.
Check out the patterns I put in the Tutorial section. They are very easy :wink:
