I had mine hanging in a second bedroom closet, and wanted one of my daughters to wear it one day when they got married. We were married 11 years when we adopted our first child, and over the next few years, we adopted 6 more. We have 3 boys and 4 girls. One day, I mentioned that I couldn't find it, and one of my daughters told me "I took it with me to Florida!" I asked her why and she told me, "because I wanted it!". This was 5 or 6 years later. She had moved to Florida with it, and then packed all of her belongings into a storage shed there, and moved back to California. She never paid on the storage, so my dress is gone....BUT, I still have my wonderful husband of 37+ years! He's a keeper!
