I see that many of us started with doll clothes, tea towels and aprons. I loved home-ec, learned so many things there that I use today. I think it is such a disadvantage that our kids today dont have the opportunity that we did. Even kids going to college should know the basics. I have grown women today that tell me they cant even sew a button on, but then, Im sure there are things they do that I cant. Thank God we aren't all the same, but glad for us 'birds of a feather'!! lol
