I've been taking a little break from quilting to make new draperies for the living room and dining room. Not too much trouble with the drapery fabrics. THEN I get to the second part of the project -- making sheer curtains to go with them.

I've spent an untold number of hours cutting 21+ yards of 106" wide sheer fabric into 8 lengths, then cutting off 36" of the width on 7 of them, not to mention cutting off the selvage edges. Now I've got to sew them up. Ugh!!

All I can say is if these things hang anywhere near straight I'll be flabberghasted. And I will NEVER, EVER do this again. Next time, just send me to JCPenney's or Sears for ready-made!!!
