Yes, that makes sense. I think it is entirely possible to vary the size, as long as
the width x 2 - 1/2" = the length.
what is confusing to me is that the size of the individual block on the instructions comes out to 2.5" x 7.5". That is what doesn't make sense to me. Maybe I just can't visualize the block.
