First let me Thank you for sharing. Love both projects and am finding lots of new ideas. :thumbup:

As for machine quilting.
I just got a new sewing machine, :) that sews and quilts,
and I find that it makes machine quilting easy.
It is a Janome 6600. It has a special quilting foot and dule feed. (I think that is what they call it) Which keeps the material from gathering and wrinkeling.

Just love the machine, to bad we had stormy weather today so I unplugged the machine
