I am making a quilt which appears to be a 100" square tray holding 23 deviled eggs....there were 25 eggs, but two were grabbed off the tray while you were carrying it from the kitchen. The first picture is of a few of the eggs on the background fabric...just testing the look. The background fabric is a hostas print. Also I attached a drawing from Electric Quilt 6 of the quilt as it will look when done. Currently the quilt status is--the 23 yolks are all hand appliqued onto the egg whites. Now the egg whites need to be appliqued onto the 73" square of hosta background fabric. I matched up two 73" lengths so you can't see the "joining" rather than have cut out 25 - 15" squares. I really wanted it to look like a tray...not a quilt.

Design wall...yep, I like the eggs on the background fabric
