They are handy to have! I was eyeballing them at a quilt show recently and decided I couldn't spend $150.00 on one. My DH and I put one together with PVC and I used cotton batting for the board. I can take it apart to store it or just slide it against another wall. We put it together for under 20 bucks. I read somewhere of a woman who stapled one to her wall. That suggestion didn't go over so well with DH. :)
