I made a small quilt from a kit ($25) that I bought in Ohio when I was visiting a couple of years ago. Gave it away to a friend for her birthday (she's a teacher!). The pattern is foundation piecing, but was easy to do.

YEAH! I found it. An Apple a Day is the name of the pattern. It was originally a green apple quilt and I changed it to Red (as WA is known for it's red apples!). It is from We've Got the Notion Inc, in Powell OH 43065. No website shown on the pattern, but phone is 614-764-0792. Hope this is helpful.
