The easiest and quickest quilt to make are squares of at least 6 x 6 in. squares, sometimes same size batting included inbetween, depending on the thickness of the material. It's the shag quilt. You sew big X's in the middle between the two squares, leaving 1/2 inch on the edges, which you clip to make it shaggy and it's so quick. You can make it as big as you want.
