I started with poly batting but it didn't take me long to realize I didn't like it. I tried cotton and don't think I'll use anything else. I went with the high loft poly and hand quilted a queen size. That in itself was a nightmare but after I finished it, the dang thing is so heavy you can't move under it. had the same problem w/w&n!by the time i finished the queen-size,i couldn't stand the weight on my feet.i am trying to figure out how to cut it down w/o totally ruining the pattern..........it'sa star log cabin,love the pattern& thought it turned out great,i was SO proud of it !any suggesstions onhow to cut it down w/o it looking butchered?
