You could just outline your squares using your walking foot. I find it just as fast to quilt it on my machine than tie it and I always worry about the ties eventually tearing out as they seem to move a little when it's washed.
I thought it would look funny on the back???? It might stop in the middle of a square. Thats why I didn't do that, believe me , i wanted to to that. That is why NO MORE backs like that again lol lol. Do you think it would have looked OK????
