When I started seeing my chiropractor I was in such pain that I couldn't sleep at night. I have 6 herniated discs in my neck and upper back. The MD I saw wanted to do surgery. I go to my chiropractor every two or three weeks now and have been for two years. He keeps me able to function, I know when it's time to go. I don't have medical insurance and his fees are very reasonable. Also I get 2 visits free if I pay for ten in advance.
