I agree with Pal this is a museum piece!! I have to add that if the client wanted it hand quilted she would have taken it to a hand quilter. There is a time for everything and I think that quilt was waiting for 2010 and for you to show your artistic talent and let the quilt show itself and really "Strut it's stuff". I think hand quilting is beautiful and love it too but this quilt called for LAQ and was just waiting for the right time and right person do do the job. I am sure the owner 's jaws will absolutely drop when they see it. Absolutely fabulous!! I have taken a third look at this and it is just beautiful. What more can be said than it is a "Quilt in time" and will be a treasure for years to come. If the client isn't happy with this send it to me, nothing would please them anyway, if this work of art doesn't fit the bill.
