OK......serial # HS520362... it's 14 3/4 x 7 1/4.
The brass plate says only Made in Japan...and there's nothing in the center. It's perfectly smooth black there.
There's no trademark on the back of the plate...there is a stamped trademark of some sort on top of where the bobbin goes...but I don't know if that means anything.
She's gots no feet ~ I just realized that. I did find the other screw for the faceplate, so I now have both of those.
The cord that is running from the machine to the base on the inside looks like it's had some repairs done with black electrical tape, but I swear to you everything else looks brand spankin new. It almost looks like it could have come out of a box today ~ not hardly any lint or anything.
I think it's a bootleg something :) But as long as it's bootleg shiny, we're good :)
