Go back to your library. Libraries can borrow books from other libraries - it's called inter-library loan. Ask them to get you the books they don't have via inter-library loan.

Another thing is that many counties let you use any library in the county, so if a library in another town has the books, you can just get them at that branch.

I don't feel too sorry for Jorge. Everyone who goes to school has to learn things and do assignments they don't care about. It will broaden his horizons a bit, and honestly, reading about chocolate can't be that painful.

Eat, Pray, Love sounds fascinating to me. I see that it's being made into a movie with Julia Roberts. I'll have to check it out.
