WARNING!! We have 2 newer irons that have the SAFTEY turn off switch on them for our quilting group. Make sure you get an iron with a LONG shut off time otherwise you are waiting for the dern thing to re-heat every time you want to use it. Even with 6-8 people sharing - it still turns off and then we WAIT..... Grrrrrr... VERY frustrating!!! I have an old G.E. that I keep on LINEN setting all day long. IT is a HOT one. No water in it but keep spray water on ironingboard. Hope this helps!
