Oh glad you had a good visit Henry. Oh wow, your quilt looks really stunning!!! Can't believe how nice the green border looks! You and me are both just getting our experience with quilting, and so this is what i would do. It is a very simple quilt, and so i think a really simple quilting design would be real nice. If it was me, i would start at the top of the quilt, but not in the borders, at the top of the yellow, and i would just sew straight lines, all the way down all the strips, stitching in the ditch, and when you hit the yellow panels, continue with your straight stitch, right through to the next strip and keep going to the bottom, then do all the strips like this. Then on the border, i would sew straight lines all the way around, like a frame, and do the lines about two inches apart, does this make sense? What do you think? I can hardly wait to see it finished, it is so pretty :)
