that is so beautiful, goodness that looks like alot of work. i have to figure out how to make a flat surface in this tiny apt of mine. tables are so expensive.

This was my first attempt at a Convergence Quilt. It's a king size quilt and I quilted it on my Janome 6600. I used the Sharon Schambers method of basting my quilt as I have trouble sitting on the floor. The top and bottom of the quilt were wrapped on long (and I mean long) boards. The batting was sandwiched in between and I used a herringbone basting stitch to baste the darn thing. It worked out wonderful and I'm thrilled with how it came out. I also made pillowcases to match rather than shams.
