I do most of my shopping from my stash. I am working on a batik sampler now. I bought the 3 background black fabrics and pulled all of the batiks from my stash, I counted and I started with 75 batiks and have added more. I have NO idea what it would cost if I were to go out and buy fat quarters and fat eights to make this with.
I usually only purchase for my stash wehn fabrics are on sale, I usually buy 3 yards, wash press and store for the right project to come along that calls for that particular piece.
