When I am looking for vintage fabric (besides feedsacks) I consider anything that is 32 inches to 36 or 39 inches vintage... with many of those coming from the thirties and forties and into the 50's. Then in the late 1950's the widths started to change to 40 to 42 inches. But... I still consider fabrics from the 60's and 70's vintage also! Or should I say retro? I love them all and snatch them up when I see them!
