when it's all healed, if you're worried about the scar any kind of ointment will work to help smooth the scar out. I had surgery on my face to remove a Basal Cell skin cancer and had a scar from below my eye over to my ear and down my neck. the Doctor told me to use Bactracin ointment first, then even Vaseline would do fine. it's the massasaging over the scar that does the trick.
