I don't keep track of dollars on each quilt because I buy year long and have a little store in my own room. So when I pick out a pattern, I go in and pull from my stash and if need be, go buy the rest that I need. There is always one fabric I don't have or need. Murphy's law. I hand quilt mine so no cost there, just my time. I know what I charge to handquilt for others. I don't sell my quilts so dont care about the costs, just if I have all the fabric I need. LOL. That is why my handquilting prices are lower because people put so much into the quilt top, the need a break on the quilting. If you ask me how much in front of my DH it would be less than 50.00. If you ask me when we are alone, the truth comes out..ROFL.
