Adding photos of quilts I entered in my Guild's show last month. My Story Weavers small group had it's own section where quilts we made from books we had read were displayed. Cowboy one is from Fool's Puzzle. Heroine's family has an Annual Thanksgiving Day Poker Game, wear you best boots and hat and bring $100 for a Kick A_ _ Poker Game. From Helen Kelley's book of her quilt articles I chose the chapter, "I will make thee a bed of roses". She tells how quilters often take a basic block and change the name because of the fabric used or person quilt is for. I chose a block from Quilter's Cache, used rose colored fabrics and changed the name to A Bed of Roses.
