This was my first attempt at a Convergence Quilt. It's a king size quilt and I quilted it on my Janome 6600. I used the Sharon Schambers method of basting my quilt as I have trouble sitting on the floor. The top and bottom of the quilt were wrapped on long (and I mean long) boards. The batting was sandwiched in between and I used a herringbone basting stitch to baste the darn thing. It worked out wonderful and I'm thrilled with how it came out. I also made pillowcases to match rather than shams.
That looks really interesting on how you are basting your quilt. could you please share how you do this with the plank you have in your quilt layers?
