Hi Maureen and welcome from Massachusetts. My father was born in St. Johns. Wish I could go there , would like to see where he was from. My grandfather was a sea captain and came to Boston when my father was about 12 Years old. My grandfather told my husband about being shipwrecked once. Wish I could hear more stories. Didn't think to ask when I was young , guess I thought there was plenty of time. Wrong.
