How are you going to quilt it, have you experimented yet with free motion?? the deep green border would be a great way of showcasing a lovely pattern, I have got quite good results by tracing a design on tracing paper, and using an open toe and loosening the foot pressure so that you can move the quilt without lifting the foot which works quite well, but go slow and use a fairly small stitch, as you have less chance of going off the line with little stitches....does that make any sense?? :D

Henry: Your quilt is lovely...I love the Roman Stripe pattern. Quilting by stitching in the ditch between each stripe really looks nice when finished. make sure you post a finished photo so we can Ohhhhhh and Ahhhhhhh over it.
