Your little lamb was probably very happy to be taken to his mamma. I hope the mamma was there. Sometimes these little lambs left alone are alone because their mamma died...around here the orphaned lambs are called "Bummer" lambs. They survive it the shepherd can get another mamma to accept the orphan.
Feathers - If you google victorian knot gardens you will see them in all their spendour, we have still along way to go...need to plant the miniature hedging around each shape, we have gravelled the paths but it will take a while yet to get it looking good!! Thanks for your compliments.

The little lamb was reunited with its mamma, it was bleating its head off as I carried it and the mamma came arunning straight away, the shepherds walk for miles around to find feeding for the goats and sheep, and this little fella just got left behind...thank god I found him!! :D
