Marsye - I and my arteries thank you for the oatmeal. It was delicious and it's so very kind of you to think of us! :)

Quilterguy27 - I know you make charity quilts and know that your dog is battling cancer. I was happy to send you something and you were very kind in your thanks. Believe me, I'm happy to help out anyone (and especially someone who makes quilts for charity.) I'm not looking for profuse thanks. All I want is to know that the packet was received. For the most part, I've received either a small gift, a written thank you card, a thank you PM and offer of a gift. I've been very blessed in life and happy to share whatever I have.

I sense a lot of mixed feelings in this thread - some are upset, some seem offended, some seem ashamed, some seem righteous, etc. I know this was not the intent and IMHO I'm thinking this topic should end.
