I also found a picture of a Trip Around the World. I think this is small blocks of this pattern set together individually with sashing. I don't know if there is a separate pattern name for this variation or if the quilter just decided she wanted to do it this way. Whichever, the more I look at it the better I like it. It may have to get moved up the line of my tops waiting to be quilted.
