The last Janome that I bought had a 25yr. warrenty. it is up and I still haven't had a bit of trouble yet.
My Kenmore sewing machine was over 20 years old when I gave it away and, as far as I know, it is still going strong. I never had a problem with it, either. I just stopped using when I got my Janome. The old machines sure were workhorses.
