Lovely log cabin!
Eleanor Burns is a wonderful teacher. I too have her log cabin book and several others. If you are wanting to learn a quick and efficient way to do something, I highly recommend her books. She's a bit of a nut on TV, but she is fun to watch! Lots of times she gives really good hints on her shows. I would never just throw bits and pieces over my shoulder, like she does in her shows; my room would change from just being a thready mess to looking like a hurricane struck it. LOL
