I may not be of much help, altho I had the surgery for a fallen bladder. I also had some female surgery at the same time. So, they kept me in the hospital for 5 days, came home, and was home for 3 weeks before going back to work part time.
I was 61 when I had the surgeries, so suppose that had something to do with it. I would say it was worth it to have the surgery. As we age, we have enough new problems along all of the time without having to deal with that. Think you will be glad you had it.
I see you are from New Mexico. I was born there--in Springer. Have been back a few times. My Dad was a Rancher and worked in the Gold Mine. What do you know about Springer now, if anything?
