Ken I can fix that but it will set you back quite a few dollars. Featherweights are kind of a crap shoot as to if they can be welded, depending on the foundry and the type of aluminum it can just melt away when I start on it. Or it will be a cinch to weld and polish back out and paint.

I have welded several Featherweights and everyone of them has been different but so far I have not had any run off and leave me so to speak. And I have welded Aluminum and Stainless for many,many years!
