The sewing area is a little tight but I can use the serger or embroidery machine just by spinning my chair around.
The room itself was originally two small bedrooms. We knocked down the wall between years ago and carved out a half bath in one corner. It works rather well. There is a chair for a guest to sit in and talk when it is not full of projects to go and someone else can use the computer while I sew. My step-son gave me the TV for Christmas several years ago. He knows I have about 5 years of Simply Quilts on tape and or DVDs. The dropleaf table the thread cabinet is setting on was my grandparents diningroom table and the little blue school desk underneath my Mother-in-law gave my daughter. Now that all of that generation are gone I like to keep reminders of them around.
