I hear ya! So what I have to help on those days when machine sewing is not happening. I have some sort of hand sewing available, applique, embroidery, or quilt binding. I can do this while at appts., in the car (as a passenger only), grandkids games or just relaxing in front of the TV. Which reminds me . . . I'm almost finished with my hand embroidery and need to set up my next one, always think ahead so I have one in the wings ready to go.

That usually helps my sewing depression for a while. But there is nothing that 'really' takes care of it until you sit down at the sewing machine.
