Well, I just discovered that Connecting Threads is right here in Columbus! Got an email from them to their Ohio customers; they are having a scrap sale, $5/lb., which works out to about $2/yd. It's on June 25, 1-6pm, and you pick out the pieces you want. Most pieces are 4" wide and at least 24" long, plus many end of bolts which are at least 1 full yard long. 1000's of colors and prints.
