We had a moose walk right in the middle of the city last week. He was found walking through the Avalon Mall parking lot.. Guess he was looking to do a bit of shopping!!! LOL He made the news!! Moose are VERY VERY popular around here... There are sooo many car accidents involving moose on our highways its incredible!! If you hit one, consider your car TOAST... and hopefully you will get out yourself with your own life.. Many people have lost their own lives from hitting moose. Moose have been spotted running down major roads here in St. John's .. mostly from Spring to Fall. they have to tranquilize them to get them down so authorities can get them back into the woods safely.
