Julia - I originally made the quilt for my husband and me. When my daughter saw pictures of it being made she said she wanted one just like it, but I couldn't get the fabric so talked to DH and we decided to give it to them and I'd make another in blue/white for us. It was hard to give up, but I was able to enjoy one night sleeping under it before it left our house. It was a joy to give and see their happy faces.
