Hello, my name is Janice. I started sewing about 4 years ago when my second daughter was born. I first made cloth diapers, then started sewing clothes for my girls. I have sewn so many garments for myself that never fit quite right. I can sew pretty well, but fitting and altering are not my strong suit. I've decided to take a break from sewing clothing and tinker with paper piecing and free motion quilting.
I finished a quilt top for my husband nearly 2 years ago and have never completed the quilt. It is a map of Italy and I have visions of free motion waves in the ocean part. I guess I need to start learning and practicing :)
