It appears that "Corporate" makes the decisions and pretty much says "forget you" to the individual stores.
I have a friend who worked in the fabric dept. at an Oklahoma Wal-mart, and even with massive letter campaigns, and no other fabric source for quilting within 50 miles, they still eliminated it.
What we have now for quilting supplies here in N. Texas Wal-marts is laughable. Shoddy quarters, and one small cabinet of regular thread, a few notions, but all of it in one small aisle about 20 feet long.
I go elsewhere, as if my patronage for 30 years was nothing to them, then they also don't need my patronage in any other department. :thumbdown:
